The meeting provided an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the incredible generosity of the Foundation&#8217;s donors and volunteers and the impact they have had at the hospital in 2024-2025.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">The HGH Foundation contributed close to $1.2M to the hospital in 2024-25.\u00a0 This supported the purchase of medical equipment for a wide range of new services including the treatment of kidney stones and a new spine surgery program. But it also funded special initiatives for patients and staff including a special rest cabin with heated massage, meditation, and light therapy for staff and physicians as well as a personalized colouring kit for every child visiting the Emergency Department.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u201c<\/span>Our success is a true reflection of our community&#8217;s generosity, its affinity for its hospital and the amazing care we have all received there<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u201d<\/span>, said Pierre Souligny, Chair of the Board of Directors.<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"x_elementToProof\">The HGH Foundation&#8217;s 2024\u201325 Annual Report is available to the public at <a href=\"https:\/\/hgh.ca\/foundation\/about-us\/community-report\/\">www.hghfoundation.org<\/a><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PRESS RELEASE For immediate release The HGH Foundation Holds Annual Meeting and Celebrates Contributions of its Donors in 2024-25.
