HAWKESBURY, September 23, 2025<\/p>\n

The seventh annual edition of La Baie Run, which was held at L\u2019Orignal Municipal Park on Saturday, July 19, was once again a huge success! With a record-breaking turnout of over 625 participants, the event raised an impressive $30,000 in support of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Foundation.<\/p>\n

\nPictured in the attached cheque presentation photo are (from left to right): Erin Tabakman (Executive Director, HGH Foundation), along with the organizing Committee of La Baie Run – Marie-Eve Yelle (Desjardins Groupe Yelle Moore), S\u00e9bastien Lalonde (CS timing Solutions), Thomas Lalonde, and Patrick Lalonde (Lalonde Physio), as well as Ginette Labelle (Board Member, HGH Foundation).<\/p>\n

Since its inception, La Baie Run has raised a total of $177,000 to help bring new medical equipment and specialty services to HGH \u2013 making a lasting difference for patients in our
\nregion. This year\u2019s edition was proudly presented by Gold sponsors: Desjardins, Harden, and Champlain Township. A heartfelt thank you to all sponsors for their generous support!
\nThe Teams Challenge, a competition which encourages a group of individuals or colleagues to fundraise together, was won by the Desjardins Groupe Yelle Moore team who raised over
\n$3,000!<\/p>\n

We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community where individuals and businesses rally
\naround such an inspiring event for our hospital, said Erin Tabakman, Executive Director of the
\nHGH Foundation. Thank you to the organizing committee and each and every one of you who
\nparticipated in La Baie Run.
