Patient safety and quality care are central to all we do at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH).
To constantly improve care, services and patient outcomes, we collect and analyse data and report on quality indicators.
Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
In 2010, the Ontario Government passed the Excellent Care for All Act. This legislation supports hospitals to further improve the quality and safety of the care that they provide for members of their communities. The Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is one the tools we use to track and review our performance in high-priority areas, including safety, effectiveness, access to care and patient experience. This plan represents our ongoing commitment to quality and patient safety. We are proud to share our 2025 QIP Workplan and Narrative with you.
