Your HGH Perioperative Services Team is very proud to welcome patients in their new state-of-the-art Surgical Unit. Two new operating rooms feature larger and much brighter spaces designed to improve patient flow and safety. The facilities and equipment meet the highest safety standards.

Each operating room features adjustable anesthetic and surgical booms that secure equipment, surgical gases and electrical outlets. This is the first phase of a long-term plan, and more improvements are yet to come in the surgical department. In 2018, two more operating rooms will open to accommodate surgical specialties such as orthopaedics.

Perioperative Services include the surgical unit, the recovery room, medical device reprocessing (MDR) and endoscopic services. The department performs day surgery for outpatients and more complex surgeries that require short-term hospitalization.
