EEG – Electroencephalography

The human brain is a complex organ that controls multiple functions of the body.

An EEG is performed to diagnose and monitor conditions affecting the brain, for example, seizures, strokes, migraines, hemorrhages, brain infections and more. The EEG is a recording of the brain’s electrical activity. There are no side effects or risks to an EEG recording, it is safe and painless. If a seizure occurs during the recording, appropriate medical measures will be provided.
