September 25th is Franco-Ontarian Day. Since 2010, HGH, as many other institutions throughout the province, has been holding a flag-raising ceremony to mark this official day. Because of the pandemic, this year’s ceremony is going virtual.

Did you know that HGH belongs to one of 26 designated areas where you can get services from the provincial government in French under the French Language Services Act? At HGH, we are proud to provide our patients, families and communities with high-quality care and services in French.

Today, let’s be proud and celebrate the vibrant culture of our Franco-Ontarian community.
