The HGH Foundation was delighted to receive an exceptional $40,000 donation from the Knights of Columbus of Alfred, in support of the purchase of HAL, a state-of-the-art pediatric patient simulator that will significantly advance clinical training at HGH.

Several members of the Alfred Knights of Columbus were present for the official cheque presentation, along with Erin Tabakman, Executive Director of the HGH Foundation, and Monel Lalonde and Dominique Yelle, nurse educators at HGH.

The HGH Foundation is deeply grateful to the Knights of Columbus of Alfred for this extraordinary gift, and to the many donors who helped bring Hal to HGH. Their generosity has made it possible for the hospital to acquire this leading-edge training tool, which will support the training of HGH’s clinical team for years to come!
