Position Details

As the Chief of Surgery, you will oversee a diverse group of specialists across multiple disciplines, including:

  • General Surgery
  • Otolaryngology
  • Urology

You will play a key role in shaping the direction of medical services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the department.

The Chief of Surgery position includes an administrative allocation of .1 FTE, with flexible options for part-time or full-time clinical shifts. Clinical billings are structured through a fee-for-service model.

Starting April 2025, we invite candidates to join HGH as soon as possible to familiarize themselves with the hospital, team dynamics, and patient community. Eligible candidates must hold licensure to practice in Ontario, be fluent in both English and French and should be specialists in either General Surgery, Otolaryngology, or Urology.
