Palliative Care

Palliative care is intended for patients at the end of their lives to provide them with the best quality of life possible under the circumstances. Palliative care aims to alleviate patient suffering when a cure for the illness is no longer possible.

The palliative care team is attentive to the person and their family’s needs. The team provides compassionate, physical, emotional and spiritual care, while respecting the dignity and choices of the person.
