What you will be doing

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation (HGHF), the Donor Relations Officer is a key member of the team with responsibility for achieving fundraising targets and generating and maintaining philanthropic support and awareness of HGH.

As the Donor Relations Officer, you will actively participate in all aspects of the HGHF fund development program and oversee donor relations activities with the purpose of creating a meaningful giving experience for donors.

What you have to offer?

  • Post-secondary education and work experience in fundraising or compatible with fundraising and the development of strong donor relationships.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is an asset.
  • Professional experience demonstrating exceptional people skills, relationship building, and customer service.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Highly self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail, ability to exceed objectives, effectively prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours weekly primarily from our office at HGH in Hawkesbury, Ontario.
